I know I've talked about this before - but in a scene with Master E and myself, he told me to say Sir before and after each sentence. When I got into Babeland's review program, I ended up kind of debating what I wanted to nab to review. Since it was my first product from them, I decided to go for something new - a clit vibe with three different tips to it. I'd never really been interested in exchangeable tips before because every single vibe I see has plastic and I just don't really like plastic on my clit - but this was silicone. Beautiful, glorious silicone in three different shapes ( okay, there was one plastic one but that didn't change my mind ) and when I saw that I had to grab it.

The Trojan Interchangeable Vibrator is actually a pretty sweet gig - when I got my hands on it after some really fast shipping ( dang, Babeland, your shipping program is great! ) I found that the packaging was pretty nice, too.

It's not terribly discrete, as you can see - Trojan is a really well-known brand so unless you're storing this around a blind person, you're not going to want to keep it in its main box. You probably won't want to keep the vibrator in the open, either. The packaging comes with some instructions as well as a really nice satiny toy-bag.

The toy itself is really fucking nice. The plastic grip is coated with.. something? I'm not sure what it is but it makes the whole thing feel velvety and nice to the touch. It also gives you enough texture to hold onto even if your hands are lube-y and that's really nice for a clit vibe since having it slip ( in a bad way ) during jilling off would just suck.

The controls themselves are also really nice. They're the same color as the hard plastic casing and they look to seamlessly mold into the rest of it - my only beef is that they're really hard to push while you're using it. They give off a lot of resistance, especially the - one ( probably because it indents rather than bumps ) so if you want to switch settings it's going to be pretty difficult. I would have honestly liked to see a dedicated on/off button for this, however, because cycling through all the patterns of vibes to get it to shut down is annoying.

On to the tips!

There's three of them, like I said - a somewhat pointy plastic one ( the bottom one ), one that looks kind of like a honey-dipper and then one that makes a sort of 'cup' for your clit.

The sensations for these are.. pretty vastly different. The plastic one conducts the vibrations a tad bit better than the other two, but it's also slicker, which means less friction. I'm the type of person who really likes rubbing a clit vibe back and forth for extra stimulation, as well as to keep from numbing myself up and the plastic tip doesn't have enough drag to make that part pleasurable for me. That, on top of it being... well, plastic has made that particular tip get about 3 out of 5 stars.

The next one, the cupping one ( top ) I just... no. It-- no. This one is really bad. I don't like it. The tip doesn't work with my anatomy well - to get any decent vibes on the clit I have to turn the curving part downwards so it fits between my labia which ends up pressing the very end up against my urethra and that's not fun. It's an aggravating feeling, especially when I try to rub my clit with it. This one's silicone, but I don't get enough friction+pressure+vibes for it to be any good for me and unless someone tells me how to magically use it so it feels good, it won't be screwed onto the Rocket any time soon. It gets a 2 out of 5.

The third and final head - the honey dipper that's screwed on in the picture - is the best one. It redeems the other tips with such gusto that if it hadn't come with the other two, just this one, I'd be more than fine with it. The ridges on this one are pronounced enough that rubbing it on my clit, combined with the vibrations, brings me immense pleasure - maybe not toe-curing scream inducing pleasure but it's pretty damn good for something I have to jam up against my clit. This one has the same kind of friction drag the other silicone one does, but with the added ability to actually be used to stroke the area rather than hold it in place. This gets a 5 out of 5.

Now, on to the vibrations themselves. They're... pretty good. I think they're about a four out of five on the strength scale, with a 3 on the loudness. They're trending towards being a more 'buzzy' vibe than a deep-set rumbly one, but the power outweighs the buzzy in this case and makes it pretty pleasurable. From what I can tell, the motor is based low-down to the usable end of it, which means it's definitely stronger where it counts rather than at your hand. There is a problem though - with the vibes being 4/5, and the handle of the vibrator being so short, sometimes it means that your fingers will get numb if you hold it too low for too long. This is, however, a minor side-effect and not something I'm really complaining about since it's my fault for trying to clutch at the middle of it when Trojan gave me a perfectly good hand-hold.

There's also various levels or patterns of vibration; 1-5 are all different strengths. It starts out on the lowest and graduates up to the 5th and highest level before switching to the patterns. No. 6 is a low-to-high pattern that moves like a wave, not just up/down/up/down. No. 7 is a quick pulse, off to high at a little bit more than one pulse a second. No. 8 is a quick burst followed by a slightly slower buzz; - - - - ---.

Cleaning-wise, I'd use a soap-and-water solution or toy wipes to clean it off. It says it's water-proof but I haven't tested that; I'd judge it to be splash-proof considering that I can slip my thumbnail between the cap and the o-ring that's based on the outside of the toy. It feels like it might leak after awhile in there, so I wouldn't suggest submersing it, and I definitely wouldn't boil it because that would fry the electronics on the inside of it, not to mention that the plastic body would probably melt.

Bonus round! The bag is pretty big, as you can see - they probably could have gotten away with making it shorter, but that's okay. The material is sturdy and thick and does its job - keeping the toy clean and lint-free. The drawstring is a little bit difficult, though - it likes to stay scrunched when you try to open it.

In total, I'm giving this toy a 4 out of 5 stars.

Is it okay to hurt people when they like it and agree to it? What about having someone under you in 'servitude'? People have been taught that slavery is wrong, but is BDSM servitude the same thing?

I think so, yes. If they ask to be hurt and are in their right mind, and it's all agreed upon beforehand - there's a lot of things that separates this from people just hurting each-other. Y'know, for the non-kinky fun of it. I personally love a little flogging every now and again, a little nipple torture - but that's because I'm able to ask for it beforehand. Because I'm able to set up limits. If someone walks up to me and punches me in the face, what's going to happen? I'm going to kick their ass, because that's not something I agreed to.

The Sadism/masochism part of BDSM is a highly ritualized thing, in my opinion. You set up guidelines. You learn people's limits. You don't go over those limits, and if you push them too hard, there's a word or a signal to get them to stop, and it's something you're morally obligated ( among other things ) to listen to. If you overstep the boundaries laid down beforehand, then it's no longer the consensual part of it, and then it's no longer okay.

It's a complicated thing.

Having someone under you in servitude is also a thing I'm okay with. It's got its own set of rules - sure, there can be winging it while it happens, but there's always hard limits, soft limits, discussions beforehand, sometimes even contracts that secure a person's place in all of this. It's not a bad thing to do, not an unethical situation because even if we learned slavery is bad, this is not that slavery. This isn't subjugating people who you think are worth 'less' than you - this is entering into something as a partnership, where both parties have equal levels of responsibility in extremely different areas of kink. BDSM slavery is not the same slavery we learn about in history. Safe, sane and consensual are the rules everyone should apply to all walks of life - BDSM just does it best, I think.

In all, I find the world of kink pretty damn ethical.

This is tough. I'm going to say real-life pregnancy, for one, because the idea of babies in me is something I am not okay with at any point.

Another I think will be genital mutilation. Whipping is fine, having bits of me removed is NOT. I'm also not cool with getting shit upon/in/etc.

Purposeful infection with STD's is another big NO for me ( that's actually a kink for some people, no lie ) and I won't be okay with amputation or blinding etc either. I also refuse to be permanently given away to another Dom. Not happening. No permanent name-changes either.

When I saw this, I was iffy. I've always been somewhat iffy on g-spot vibes; the curve is usually too sharp or too far in and then it's just unpleasant because it hurts. I took a chance on it, though, and when it came in I promptly turned it on and had a go.

I found out VERY quickly that the Le Curve has it right. The insertable length of it measures out at about 4 inches, and the width graduates from 1 inch at the tip to 1.5 inches farther down. This, for me, is perfect, because it allows me to rock on the handle to get it to push up against my g-spot for a little extra something to couple up with the vibrations. The tip is blunt enough that it doesn't hurt me, either, while being small enough that it doesn't just feel like an average dildo. The looks are also sort of swanky, though it's more shiney than I thought it would be from the pictures I saw on on of my favorite sex-toy shops.

When I tried it other ways, I found out that I didn't really like this as a clit vibe, even though the main bulb of the handle rests against that area. The vibes just weren't strong enough to transmit from the neck of the Le Curve up to the handle to do anything for me, so I'm keeping it as a g-spot vibrator. I also wouldn't use this anally since the base, while bigger than the rest, isn't a 100% insurance against getting it lost.

The vibes themselves are very nice. They're a mix between buzzy and rumbly, and the vibrator itself does well to pinpoint the g-spot. I'd average the vibrations at about a 4 on the strength scale ( this vibe takes 3 AA batteries, so I'm happy that the strength matches up with the power required ), with a noise-level of 4 as well - so it's not discrete. The motor I found to be somewhat unstable - it often sounds rattly, like something is loose inside of it, which is what raised the noise level to a 4.

The controls actually have a dedicated on/off button which is something I always look for in vibrators. The bottom button is the on/off switch, and the top one cycles through all 7 functions. They're easy to push, too - almost too easy, I've had some mishaps during use - so you won't be scrabbling around on the vibrator while trying to change the functions. It also lights up and pulses with the vibration patterns, which is kinda cool.

In use, I found that the patterns are especially good for building yourself up to orgasm, and when you get there, it's really fun to switch it back to the highest constant function. I haven't been able to climax by using the patterns alone, however - I have to use the constant vibe function or it just doesn't work.

Cleaning this toy is also something of a trial. You can screw the plastic tip off and then remove the clear middle section along with the O-ring that doesn't quite prevent fluids from getting between the purple and the clear. I've found that taking toy wipes to it is one of the best ways to clean all of it without too much frustration. The whole thing is made out of plastic so you can't boil it because it would both melt and fry the motors, not to mention it's DEFINITELY not water-proof. Since it's plastic, though, you can use all lubes on it - silicone-, oil- and water-based - without worrying that they'll hurt the material.

Another flaw in the design is that if you squeeze it too hard ( thighs, through kegal exercises, etc ) it has the potential to stop the motor entirely - mine has started having issues with this and I'm not sure I'll want to get another one if the squeezing kills it entirely.

Over-all, however, this is a good vibrator and it gets 3 out of 5 stars from me.

Okay, so, I'm not actually sure what it was. Like I mentioned yesterday, I had that whole thing going on where we'd go to the bathroom and stuff, but I don't really think that counts.

I guess you could say that it the time I had a small fling with one of my best friends at the time - we 69'd it and I got awkwardly introduced to watersports. I guess I'm a switch who prefers to be a sub. I can be a dom-- but it kind of drains me. In... a good way, I think? I'm always content afterwards but it takes a really specific mood for me to get there.

So yeah, a switch who enjoys subbing a lot. I've known about this since... a very, very young age, however I've not always had so many tendencies towards subbing. I used to be dominant for many, many years, but I ended up burning myself out on it. Now it's just a dish I sample occasionally, though I try to do better than I used to with it. Back in the day I was fairly immature about it and thought that the pain/ownership was most of it, so there was an emotional disconnect. I'm honestly glad I've gotten over that misconception or I wouldn't be as content as I am now, though I'm still figuring stuff out with help along the way.

And to be honest, BDSM is such an extensive topic that I can't exactly go over everything in it that interests me. There's so much that I like about it. The taboo parts, the fact that sessions can practically make you bare yourself to the world, and enjoy it besides. The emotional commitment, the emotional gains, the satisfaction both physical and mental.

I like the pain, too - that part is hella exquisite to me, though I have issues with my thresholds. It's so... liberating. It makes me feel like through pain I am complete, and allowed to de-stress from life in general. It's the same with giving myself up to Master; I guess you could liken it to a confessional, in a way. Expose your sins ( or yourself ) to the world and through it you'll become at peace with yourself.

On the domination side, I'll say now that I really like taking care of people. It might seem like that's the slave's job, to take care of their Master, but if you don't give direction and if you don't make sure to assuage doubts, fears, insecurities, etc. - a basic part of 'care', so to speak - then it will be difficult to have that sort of 'relationship' going on at all. A slave can't read your mind!

I also like... having someone's trust placed in my hands. It's not just for myself but for them as well; doing well with that trust is a high-end compliment to how I preform.

It's also a great way for me to take out my aggressions in a constructive way. I don't go beating the absolute everloving shit out of my subs but getting to dominate someone fully is a way to say 'fuck you!' to parts of my life which I can't control.

The title is pretty much accurate. My sex-life is awesome even with my partner a state away from me. And that's a fact. At least, for me. I got this vibrator on sale and it's a damn good thing I did because it went out of stock shortly after, and then right after that it got discontinued. Okay, okay, maybe I didn't use it that often but it's become one of my go-to toys. I kinda got this one on a whim since one of my most-frequented sex-shops was having a sale on it, and when it came in I was skeptical at best.

I pulled it out and it was... well, not normal. Not exactly. Sure, it looked like a dildo ( and an average-size one at that ), but the pattern on it is certainly not a normal pattern. There's no nasty-ass sharp ridges or bumps on this, only smooth transitions into flowing curves that match up with the astrological symbol it's named after. At first glance ( and second, and third, and fourth... ) the design is certainly something nice. I like sleek-looking things, and this fits the bill just fine, thanks.

Then I turned it on. I knew going in that this thing would be loud, and it didn't surprise me there, but I didn't expect the power-level of it to match up with the noise and that, my friends, is a really good thing when it comes to this vibe. That got me all excited to use it so I jumped right in and lemme tell you now, Capricorn isn't a disappointment, not even by a long shot. He tapers from a 4.25 inch circumference ( 1.3 inch diameter ) at the tip to a 5.75 inch circumference ( 1.8 inch diameter ) at the widest point near the base. Due to the raised texture on him, this might vary a little bit from place to place but it's generally accurate.

The Capricorn's texture is silky and semi-smooth; un-lubed, it's got a fair amount of drag and even with lubricants it's still got a decent amount of friction to it. You can squish it a little bit when gripping onto it, but it's fairly stiff and without give, so if you expect it to be extremely forgiving, it's not going to be. You can't bend it, so don't try.

The material it's made out if 100% platinum silicone, with plastic for the battery cap/dial. You shouldn't use silicone- or oil-based lubricants on it because it can degrade or even melt the toy's materials. Water-based lubricants are good ( a good one can be found here ), so stick to those. This also means you shouldn't store it with non-100%-platinum-silicone materials, because it can do the same thing the wrong lubes can; degrade or melt your toy, which is gross. If you can manage it, you should give this toy its own storage bag, but if you can't, just be aware of what you're storing it with.

Now the silicone means, while being sterilizable on the body of it ( just use antibacterial soap/water or toy wipes or a 10% bleach solution on it ), you shouldn't boil it or toss it in the dishwasher because not only might it mess up the plastic but it will more than likely wreck the insides of it as well.

It's not a waterproof toy as much as I would like it to be; there's no o-ring and from what I can tell water can seep inside very easily where the battery cap screws on. The mechanism to dial up/down the vibrations is a simple turning mechanism which I snapped a picture of;

As you can see it's not very hi-tech; there's no pulsating patterns or super-swanky 'surprise me' modes. Only settings low through high - and that's how I like it. I generally let it sit at about medium because it doesn't sacrifice too much power while remaining quieter than it would be on high. On a vibration scale, this thing sits at a 4 out of 5 - I've felt stronger, but this is really good for the price. The vibrations are also deep-set and rumbly, not superficially buzzy. The noise is, to me, about a 3 out of 5 though on the highest setting I feel it might be pushing closer to a 4.

To power this toy, you're going to need two double-A batteries. Allow me a moment to wax ecstatic about how little the Capricorn drains power; I've used it for well over 15 sessions and it still rumbles just like it did when I first put the batteries in. It's not a power-hog by any stretch of imagination.

The packaging has been lost but I know it wasn't very discrete. There was an open peekaboo window on the front that allowed you to see exactly what it was, and the back of it had two flaps that unfolded to explain what it was, as well as a little bit about the company. The explanations were in various languages including English and German.

And last but not least, you should not use this toy anally. It doesn't have a flared base which means it could get lost, and that could end up with potential and embarrassing trips to the hospital and neither you nor the doctors want that.

Over-all, I'm giving this a 4/5 - I deducted a point for loudness because I'm not one to get much privacy so the noise is the one thing that I'm not happy about, but other than that this toy is golden in my book.

Colette let me down

I'm pretty much demanding with my vibes. They have to be ( relatively ) quiet and they have to be strong, not to mention body-safe. When I input these stats into one of my favorite sex-toy stores and found that the Couture Collection Colette was one of two vibrators ( the other of which is the Insignia Soraya ) that were available, well, I jumped on it. I was delighted to find a vibrator that not only has three motors and seven vibration patterns but is whisper fucking quiet. Do you know how hard that is to find a powerful vibe that's whisper-quiet? Nigh impossible for us mortals.

Anyway, I bought it ( and on sale too, lucky me! ) and eagerly awaited its arrival. It didn't take long to ship at all, maybe two days, so they get mega points for speedy delivery. When it got here, I practically tore open the box and pulled it out.

It was gorgeous. A velvety-soft silicone covering for the shaft, and a sleek-looking control system makes it look like a luxury vibrator and I like that. I like it a lot. It's a lovely piece. But then the problems started.

I went to open the battery compartment and it was having none of it. It looked like it was already partially off because of the big gap between it and the rest of the plastic casing, but it wasn't. What it was doing was stubbornly denying my efforts to pry it off. It took a couple minutes of jiggling and shaking and one broken nail to finally open it, and when I did there was a pretty nondescript battery setup. It takes three triple-a's and they're not inserted end-to-end, they have their own little compartment that slides in and out like a cluster of power-giving goodness.

Once that was done, I turned it on.

Oh. And not a good oh, either. The low felt... really low. Maybe a 2 on the vrooms scale. Maybe. So I turned it up to the high setting and...

Oh. High was a disappointing 'Did I hit the button? Is this really high?". I played with the vibration patterns for awhile and found out that they've got their own pretty distinct patterns;

1: Low.
2: "High"
3: Top motor, middle motor, bottom motor, repeat as necessary
4: Escalates from high to low, stops, then starts escalating again
5: 1st motor pulses 4 times, 2nd motor pulses 5 times, 3rd motor pulses 4 times at a quick rate
6: Motors turn on at random. My favorite mode for surprises.
7: Pulses all three motors on low at a slowish pace.

In use wasn't much better. I lubed it up and took it for a test run and I could hardly feel the vibes. I'm not very sensitive to vibrations, which is why something has to be really high, and this sort of felt like I took a couple bees, stuffed them in a jar and then put them in my vagina. It wasn't a terribly pleasant experience. The shape didn't do it for me either; it offers g-spot stimulation but the curve just... hurts. It pushes in all the wrong places and I can feel it pressing against where my urethra is if it's too shallow, or I can feel it aggravating my IUD if it's in too deep. The curve just isn't a good fit for my body and I don't like my vibes to cause me pain or discomfort rather than pleasure.

But I tried. I tried really hard to get this thing to get me off. I flipped it upside-down, I played with all the vibe patterns ( including no. 6 which was the least sucky ), I tried some thrusting action, I even tried it on my clit - which was actually decent, the vibrations are good enough to get me horny but not get me off through clitoral stimulation. The only problem is, it's big ( 9 inches total ) and unwieldy when trying to use it as a clit vibe, so it got mostly ignored for another toy that would actually do it for me. I did let it stay inside me, merrily buzzing away at it's high-but-not-really setting and when I finally, finally got off, I pulled it out and tossed it aside so I wouldn't have to deal with it til my disappointment wore off.

My less-than-mindblowing experience aside, time for some stats on this vibe!

The lovely sex-toy site I got this vibe from says that it's waterproof, as does the box the toy came in. This is very not true. There's an extremely noticeable gap between the battery cover and the rest of the plastic and there's no way I'll be testing that out by submerging it. Here's a picture so you can see what I'm talking about:

Yeah. Not very pleasant. There's also no o-ring, and the mechanism to open the battery case is one of those push-to-open things where water could leak right on in unhindered. At best, I'd guess this might be splash-proof, but considering that there's a gap on the control panel, too...

I wouldn't push it. The picture above also shows up all three motors active; the top light is the top motor, the middle light is the middle and the bottom is the bottom. They don't always keep up with the pulsation patterns so I wouldn't go off of the blinking to see how fast the motors go. There's a dedicated on/off button ( the one on the bottom ) and the top /\/\/ button is for changing the patterns of vibration.

The motors themselves are placed at the tip, middle and 'end' of the silicone casing, respectively. They're all individually about a 2 strength on a 1 to 5 scale, and together they bump it up to a very iffy 3 - when it's on high. On low, it's still a 2. This would be a good toy for someone who likes mild to strong vibrations, as well as somebody who likes a decent amount of girth. Size-queens should probably look elsewhere.

The measurements on this toy can be shown in this picture:

The entire length is 9.25 inches long, including the 'handle'. The insertable portion of the shaft is 6 inches. The width is a pretty uniform 1.5 inches all along the insertable portion and since you're not supposed to put the handle inside of yourself, I didn't measure how wide it is. Sorry!

There's also a visible seam down both sides of the toy, pictured here.

The whole thing, excluding the handle, is also decently flexible. I can actually grab it and straighten the whole thing out so there's no visible curve to it, but it bounces right back into place when I let it go. The silicone coating has a decent amount of squeeze-give to it; if you push down in any given place, you can indent it about 2 to 3 millimeters. The texture of the silicone is very, very smooth but velvety at the same time. Lubed up, there's a decent amount of drag to it, so it's not like using plastic or glass or metal.

Since the material is made out of silicone ( except the handle which is abs plastic ), you're going to want to be careful with what lubes you use with it. Oil-based and silicone-based lubricants are no-nos with this material because they can degrade it or melt it; stick to water-based lubricants ( a good one would be sliquid organics gel ) to be sure you won't damage your toy.

To clean this up, you can use a 10% bleach solution to wipe down the toy. You can also use a warm soap-and-water mixture, toy wipes or toy cleaner. You won't want to submerge this toy or put it in the dishwasher, and because it has moving parts, you won't want to try and boil it.

The packaging is pretty non-discrete. It's mostly see-through and on the side that isn't, it shows the toy in all its purple glory along with some of the features like "3 motors" and "automatic on/off button" and "flexible shaft moves with you". It's very unmistakable for anything other than a sex-toy box. It would be alright for storing the toy in, since it's got a plastic insert that forms to the toy itself, but you'd have to hide it in a closet or somewhere else that isn't out in the open.

Last but not least, this toy should not be used anally. It doesn't have a flared base which means it could get lost inside your butt, which would probably end up in awkward trips to the hospital and nobody wants that, especially you!

Over-all, I'm giving this toy a 2 out of 5. 3 motors is a good idea, but there's just too many cons for me to like it that much. I'll probably be selling this soon since I don't even want to use it again.

Finally doing it

Finally. I’m starting my own blog. This might not be a big thing for most people, but to me it is. It’s kind of one of those goals I’ve had for awhile now and fulfilling it is pretty damn awesome.
