Explain as best you can what the appeal of kink/BDSM is to you? Why are you drawn to what you’re drawn to?

Letting go of everything. That's partially my reasons - in kink I can find peace with myself, at least for a short period of time. It also helps me get in touch with myself ( and others ) - if you're gonna participate in something kinky, it's hard as hell to remain closed off. That's one of my major issues in general, closing people out, so kink helps me expand myself to let other people in. It's also a thing I'm hella comfortable with; perhaps one of the best aspects of my life, even if I can't really talk about it with everyone.
Kink isn't boring. Kink takes care of its own and helps them grow, and nurtures them by allowing them to be themselves in a setting that most people would be afraid to 'let it out' in. It helps people become less ashamed of who they are through exposure to things some people would cringe away from, and opens up an entirely new level of thinking. Kink isn't just a thing to be liked; it can be a lifestyle.
I guess that's sort of why.
