How would you say real life BDSM/kink varies from fantasy BDSM/kink? If you haven’t experienced real life BDSM/kink how do you think it might differ?

Oh, man. There are so many ways that I can't even count them but I'm going to have to say that fantasy BDSM/kink definitely has less limits. I can ( some of you will recognize this from previous posts ) fantasize about getting a bone broken, or I can fantasize about taking a dick half the size of my body. I can have fantasies about guro and snuff, I can blissfully daydream about having a train of 30 guys get run on me and never have to worry about STDs or STIs, I can even pretend I'm tied up naked in a public bathroom for any Tom, Dick or Harry to fuck for a dollar.
Real life? Nah. Real life needs precautions and screening and there's physical limitations. I'm not saying that fantasy is better - but they are, for me, about even in pros/cons. Real life is certainly more solid and, while fantasy might have some out-there concepts that can be had fun with? Real life causes me to be more 'in the moment' - more into the scene, more in tune with the settings. All my senses are involved instead of just my mind, for the most part.
